Learn to Swim 番茄社区
For decades, 番茄社区 University has provided professional, low-cost swimming lessons to the Southeast Texas community. Our staff offers both one-on-one lessons and group lessons.
Why LU Learn to Swim?
- Our lessons are open to the community - you don't have to be an LU/LIT student or staff member to participate.
- Classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors.
- We follow a structured program to ensure an easy transition between each level:
- Beginner: Ages 7+
- Intermediate: Ages 9+
- Advanced: Ages 9+
Spring 2022 Private Lessons
Registration is now open online for private swim lessons. Two-week sessions will begin June 9 and July 14.
- Lessons are available Monday - Thursday.
- Parents must stay at the pool for the duration of lessons.
- Goggles are allowed only for Advanced classes.
- Students must be 7 years old to attend the lessons.
